A new bowling alley was made a few years ago and still looks like new. They have some great live bands around 6pm and worth a look. They have an internet café there too.
Val Thorens has a very good sport centre which has main swimming pool, a big Jacuzzi and two smaller Jacuzzis. It also has a steam room and several saunas. It also has the standard sports of basketball, 5-a-side football (competitions are arranged), table tennis and a kids area with ball-pits and climbing frames.
There are several Spas in Val Thorens, one in Sport Centre, one at the bottom of the resort and the at the top end of the resort. One of the newest and the one we recommend is La Spa at the top end of the resort, but there are of course spas in many of the Hotels in the resort.
If you fancy getting out onto the snow but with the power of an engine under you why not try Ski Dooing. More information can be found on our Ski Doo page.
